Storyline:

Ganesh Gaitonde is a gangster who kills a woman who kept his secret for a long time. In the other scene, a gunman kills lots of people in a restaurant. Sartaj Singh is a policeman who faces inquiry regarding a teenager who was shot by his senior. He gets a call from Gaitonde who narrates his story about how he became a gangster from a pious Brahmin. He also claims to know Dilabg Singh, Sartaj’s father. Sartaj tracks his location later and follows him to a warehouse where Gaitonde reveals that Mumbai was in danger and will be destroyed in next 25 days and accidentally shoots himself.

The next episode witnesses Anjali Mathur as a RAW agent and asks Sartaj to inquire about the dead lady at the crime scene. Meanwhile, Home Minister Bipin Bhosale upon hearing Gaitonde’s death asks to close the case. Sartaj located the house of the lady named Jojo Mascarenas and finds counterfeiting currency. In parallel, the flashback of Gaitonde’s life continues and we are introduced to Bunty, a criminal.

Sartaj traces Bunty through the dead lady. Anjali reaches the restaurant where the shooting took place and saves Mathu until he is assassinated. Sartaj meets Nayanika, a TV starlet. With the help of Naynika RAW tries catching Bunty but fail and Nayanika is caught. He runs to save her, in turn, jeopardizing RAW’s plans to catch Bunty. Gaitonde in flashback enters politics and converts his black money into white with the help of Kuckoo.

Sartaj and Anjali enquire more about what is to happen after the 25^th day and who is Trivedi who Gaitonde claimed to be the lone survivor. Sartaj carries on with his further investigations into Gaitonde’s third father. He discovers a room full of dangerous weapons covered in boxes.
